Essential only

PressStays.com uses only technologies that are strictly necessary to run the service. We set no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies and no third-party tracking pixels, so no consent banner is required.

Exactly what is stored

Sign-in session (browser local storage, set by our authentication provider): keeps you signed in between visits and is removed when you sign out.

Sign-up continuation (browser local storage): briefly holds the terms you accepted and any invitation you claimed while you confirm your email address, then deletes itself.

Sidebar preference (cookie): remembers whether you left the navigation panel open or closed.

Payment security (cookies set by Stripe): set only when a payment page is displayed, to protect against fraud.

Your browser also requests our typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address. No cookie is set by that request.

Managing them

Clearing your browser storage will sign you out of PressStays.com. Blocking essential storage will prevent sign-in from working.
